The Friends of St Peter’s Sibton are about preserving and sustaining the beautiful medieval church of St Peter’s Sibton, Suffolk

We aim to:

  • Develop Sibton Church as an accessible creative hub and a focal point for community activities.

  • Restore and reinvigorate a local heritage asset for all ages both locally and across Suffolk

  • Develop Sibton Church as a sustainable setting for preserving local heritage.

Folk In Ruins weekend 19th and 20th July.

As part of the weekend events in Church there will be records of those who made their home, life and living in Sibton - including some unexpectedly famous people.   There will be an opportunity to learn about Sibton folk who are buried in the churchyard as well as those recorded with memorial in the church itself.
Do you have ancestors who were buried at Sibton?  Do you have research, stories or family trees to share?   If so, please contact Jan Belton, jan.belton@btinternet.com
